Electronics Industry – Stacker Crane Material Bin Warehouse

1. Project Background

Customer Requirements: A well-known electronics manufacturer needed to build a smart Automated Storage and Retrieval System to meet the following requirements:

Storage Requirements: Over 5,000 SKUs (including chips, circuit boards, and consumer electronics products), supporting mixed storage of small precision parts (5mm×5mm×2mm) and large appliances (such as refrigerators and air conditioners);

Efficiency Goals: Average daily order processing of 20,000 orders, with a peak throughput of 50,000 items per day;

Compliance Requirements: Electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, moisture resistance (humidity ≤40%), temperature control (15-25°C), compliant with ISO 9001 and IEC 61340 standards;

Cost Optimization: Reduce reliance on manual labor and lower the goods damage rate to below 0.1%.

2. Technical Highlights

Precision Component Protection Design:

Micro-stacking machine forks are equipped with anti-static silicone pads (surface resistance ≤ 1×10⁶Ω) to accommodate ESD-sensitive components such as chips and sensors;

Shelf panels use anti-vibration silicone pads + elastic limiters, with vibration amplitude ≤ 0.1g.

Precise Environmental Control:

The temperature-controlled zone is equipped with an inert gas fire suppression system (oxygen concentration ≤ 1%), and smoke detectors are embedded within the shelves;

Ion wind dust removal devices continuously eliminate static electricity, achieving air cleanliness up to ISO Class 8 standards.

Efficient Sorting Strategy:

The WMS consolidates order batches by product category (e.g., consumer electronics + accessories combined orders) to reduce the number of shuttle cart movements;

AGVs use a relay mode, improving cross-zone transportation efficiency by 50%.
