Stacker Automatic Warehouse
Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS) is a modern warehousing system that uses high-bay racking, automated handling equipment, and computer management and control systems to achieve automated storage and retrieval of goods.
It can effectively improve warehouse space utilization, improve logistics efficiency, reduce labor costs, and is widely used in manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceuticals, food, third-party logistics and other industries.
Stacker Automatic Warehouse
I. Introduction to Automated High-Bay Warehouses
An automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) is a modern warehousing system that uses high-bay racking, automated handling equipment, and a computer management and control system to achieve automated storage and retrieval of goods. It can effectively improve warehouse space utilization, enhance logistics efficiency, reduce labor costs, and is widely used in manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceuticals, food, and third-party logistics industries.
II. System Composition
1) Racking: Steel structures used for storing goods, mainly in two basic forms: welded racks and modular racks.
2) Aisle Stacker Cranes: Equipment used for automated storage and retrieval of goods, divided into two basic forms: single-column and double-column.
3) Conveyor System: Responsible for transporting goods to or from the stacker crane. Common types include roller conveyors, chain conveyors, lifting platforms, AGVs, RGVs, elevators, and belt conveyors.
4) Automatic Control System: An automatic control system that drives the various equipment of the automated high-bay warehouse system, usually using a fieldbus system.
5) Computer Management System: The core of the fully automated high-bay warehouse system, responsible for real-time monitoring of equipment operation status, processing logistics business data, and achieving logical analysis of work tasks, optimization of transportation routes, and coordinated monitoring of equipment processes. It can be networked or integrated with other systems (such as ERP systems).
III. Functions
1) Improve Space Utilization: By storing goods on high-bay racking, the storage capacity per unit area is 5-10 times that of an ordinary warehouse.
2) Improve Operational Efficiency and Accuracy: Through intelligent equipment for fast and accurate storage and retrieval of goods, the in/out capacity can reach 200-400 pallets per hour, increasing operational efficiency several times and achieving an accuracy rate of 99.99%.
3) Reduce Labor and Operating Costs: Reduces manual handling and sorting, reducing labor by about 70% and overall operating costs by about 30%.
4) Reduce Damage Rate: Using advanced goods management and monitoring systems, the damage rate can be reduced to below 0.5%.
5) Enhance Corporate Competitiveness: Improves management level, increasing the company’s market competitiveness by 20-30%.
